New IP Interface Features on the Way from multiCAM

Uses multiCAM Radio for visual radio applications July 17, 2017

MONTREUIL, France —A provider of integrated video production systems, multiCAM is launching a new IP interface feature that will work for visual radio applications. The new feature is compatible with multiCAM’s complete line of products and requires no additional hardware or software.

The interface supports a larger number of cameras than what is available through SDI capture cards, while also managing all video streams and PTZ cameras over the network. Customers can still choose between IP and SDI for each input to support mixed camera environments.

The IP input feature will use multiCAM Radio, offering native IP connectivity for visual radio. It also enables radio stations to use many more cameras throughout multiple rooms. Additional features include the ability to operate on a smaller server and provide full PTZ control and power over a single network cable.

The new IP feature is now available.
