Mr. Kundrus is a software developer of notable standing in the audio technology community. During his years at Steinberg Media Technologies, starting with Cubase version 1.0, Kundrus’ concepts and ideas later led to the development of Nuendo, which eventually became the platform for Cubase SX, replacing Cubase VST in the legendary DAW line. More recently, Kundrus led a development team that created Presonus Studio One, one of the most successful new DAWs of this decade. Based on his vision for software that is easy to learn and use, Kundrus is a natural fit to add to EastWest’s track record of creating innovative tools for composers in music, film, TV and gaming.
“EastWest is ensuring its market-leading position by employing the best talent in the industry,” says EastWest founder and producer Doug Rogers. “Wolfgang’s success in developing industry leading audio software such as Cubase, Nuendo and Studio One will be of great value in our ongoing mission to bring to market products that enable our customers to take their music to the next level. He brings to EastWest more than 28 years of proven experience. We are extremely excited to be working with him.”
“I’ve always been a big fan of EastWest products and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to shape future development with award-winning producers like Doug and his team,” said Kundrus, “EastWest provides professionals with the very best music creation tools and their clientele reads like a regular ‘who's who’ of music, film, television, games, and multimedia. It’s an honor to bring my experience to EastWest’s vision for truly revolutionary products and help them become a reality.”
