Pasternack Debuts Portfolio of Waveguide Twists

Operate from 18 to 110 GHz across seven bands May 25, 2016

IRVINE, Calif.—Pasternack is launching a new portfolio of waveguide twists that operate from 18 to 110 GHz across seven frequency bands. The twists are designed to prevent unwanted distortion in the signal’s transmission.

These new waveguides can be turned at precise angles to meet varying mechanical and electrical constraints on a system. The twists also look to ensure correct polarization of the signal, offering both 45-degree and 90-degree twists; the 45-degree versions are available in both right and left hand twist configurations.

Pasternack offers more than 20 models of waveguide twists, offering electrical performance with VSWR as low as 1.02:1 and insertion loss as low as 0.2 dB. Square and circular UG-style flange types are available, as well as mechanical lengths that range from 1 to 2.7 inches.

Pasternack’s new waveguide twists are in-stock and now available for shipping.
