New Google Smart Speakers Compatible With iHeartRadio

Plus Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches offer options for listening on-the-go October 6, 2017

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Have you heard the news? Google and iHeartRadio have both stepped up their voice control game with new product introductions and app integration announcements this week.

According to an announcement from iHeartMedia's blog, Google Home Mini and Google Home Max smart speakers and the Google Pixel Buds (wireless headphones) are now compatible with iHeartRadio and can be accessed via voice commands or physical taps/swipes.

And the Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches now enable users to listen to iHeart stations "untethered," meaning music is available on your run — even if you leave your phone behind.
