BURBANK, CALIF. Following its sale of KHJ(AM), Liberman Broadcasting Inc. has moved its La Ranchera format to the FM band. The new home for the format is KWIZ(FM) 96.7 in L.A.
It was essential that we continue to bring this heritage brand to the market, and we are thrilled to announce its new FM band home, said Eddie Leon, vice president of programming for Liberman Broadcasting.
La Ranchera''s on-air team features Hugo Armando (5-10am); Ruben Miranda (10 a.m.-3 p.m.); Alberto Murillo (3-7 p.m.); and Lupita Warios, who continues to handle nights from 7 p.m.-midnight.
