59th AES Conference to Focus on Sound Reinforcement

NEW YORK � For the first time in 25 years, the Audio Engineering Society will focus its annual international conference on sound reinforcement engineering and technology. Leading technologists, scientists, developers and users will meet in Montreal for the 59th AES Conference to discuss the latest innovations, current technologies and visions of the future for the sound reinforcement industry.

Tutorials, papers, workshops and case study analyses will take place on topics such as sound reinforcement in arenas, stadiums, theaters and house of worships; bass frequency control; active array techniques; measurement techniques and equipment; sound system optimization and more.

AES Announces Meyer Sound’s Bob McCarthy as Keynote Speaker for the 59th International Conference on Sound Reinforcement Engineering and Technology

New York, NY, — The AES has announced Meyer Sound’s Director of System Optimization, Bob McCarthy, as the keynote speaker for the 59th International AES Conference at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, taking place July 15-17, 2015, with an emphasis on Sound Reinforcement Engineering and Technology.
