AES Technical Tour Will Visit Edison Museum

NEW YORK� This year�s AES technical tour schedule is packed with audio-related NYC locales.

�New York City offers an unmatched number of world-renowned facilities of interest to audio professionals, and this year�s Technical Tours itinerary is the most extensive ever,� said David Merrill, 139th AES Technical Tours Chair. �We�ll be offering up-close looks at some of the area�s most important studios, concert halls, manufacturers and even a Halloween-themed visit to a high-tech haunted hotel.��

The Technical Tours will be available on a first-come-first-served basis to anyone with an All Access badge, which can be purchased during normal registration hours at the Javits Center.

Thursday, Oct. 29, 2 � 5 p.m.: Brooklyn Phono�

2:15 � 3:45 p.m.: The DiMenna Center for Classical Music with The Orchestra of St. Luke�s�

6 � 10 p.m.: Gravesend Inn�

Friday, Oct. 30, 10:30 am � 1 p.m.: Sear Sound�

12 � 4 p.m.: Steinway and Sons�

1:15 � 4:45 p.m.: WNYC Radio�

Saturday, Oct. 31, 2 � 4:30 p.m.: Rodgers and Hammerstein Archives ��

3:45 � 6:45 p.m.: Avery Fisher Hall�

4� 8 p.m.: Thomas Edison Museum�

Sunday, Nov. 1, 11 a.m. � 1 p.m.: NBCUniversal �
