CHARLOTTE, N.C.�The Association of Public Radio Engineers is calling for presentation proposals for its 2016 Public Radio Engineering Conference. The conference is scheduled to take place from April 14-15 in Las Vegas.
APRE is looking for educational presentations that can integrate with the theme of the conference, �Connected Facility,� with focus areas on how broadcast facilities are connected to transmitter equipment and sites, monitoring, automation and traffic systems, remote broadcasts and recordings, backup systems, and other broadcast engineering topics. Presentations should be 30-60 minutes in length and targeted toward engineering and operations staff.
Proposals can be submitted via email email@example.com, including a short narrative of the topic and expected presentation length. Deadline for proposals is Dec. 1.
