Broadcast audio processing pioneer Orban Labs says the company’s founder Bob Orban will address several chapters of the Society of Broadcast Engineers via teleconference this spring.

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. � Broadcast audio processing pioneer Orban Labs says the company�s founder Bob Orban will address several chapters of the Society of Broadcast Engineers via teleconference this spring.

Orban will speak about audio processing and loudness control over the course of 45-minutes, followed by a Q&A session.�

So far, calls have been scheduled for:

  • April 18 (daytime) in Appleton / Green Bay, Wis.
  • April 18 (evening) in Chicago
  • May 3 in Binghamton, N.Y.
  • May 4 in Richland / Kennewick, Wash. (Tri Cities)
  • June 6 in Spokane, Wash.

"The SBE appreciates the efforts of Orban and many other companies that provide representatives to speak at SBE chapter meetings. Providing educational opportunities for broadcast engineers is a primary mission of SBE chapters across the country, and the cooperation of broadcast industry manufacturers makes this possible," the SBE wrote in an email.
