CBS Local Media Names VP of National Digital Sales

NEW YORK�John Vilade has been named Vice President, National Digital Sales for CBS Local Media. He will lead sales development and strategy for CBS''s digital assets associated with its TV and radio stations.

Anton Guitano, CBS Local Media''s chief operating officer, made the announcement.

Vilade will work directly with the executives in charge of sales for CBS Television Stations (Jim Sullivan), CBS Radio (Michael Weiss), as well as CBS Local Digital Media President Ezra Kucharz.

Most recently, Vilade served as executive vice president of national advertising sales for News Distribution Network. Prior to that, he was vice president of national advertising sales for the eastern and central regions for Hulu. He also worked as vice president of national advertising sales business development for the Discovery Networks and as vice president in NBC Universal''s Strategic Partnership Group. He also has experience in a various sales and account manager position at the Weather Channel, CNBC.com and NBC Networks Distribution.

CBS Local Digital Media combines the assets of CBS''s television and radio stations to create more than two dozen major market specific portals featuring coverage of news, traffic, weather, sports and entertainment headlines; music and lifestyle websites; mobile apps and local commerce platforms.
