CBS Radio and Townsquare Media Partner on MNN

DETROIT�CBS Radio and Townsquare Media have announced plans to launch the Michigan News Network on Sept. 2 nearly 20 affiliates throughout the state.
The venture will provide affiliated stations in Detroit, Flint, Lansing, Kalamazoo and Ann Arbor with news, sports and other local content produced by CBS Radio stations WWJ(AM) and WXYT(FM).
MNN will offer top-of-the-hour broadcasts weekdays from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 60-second sports updates three times per day during the same time period. The CBS Radio content will be licensed by Townsquare Media, which will serve as the exclusive syndication partner and manage affiliate relationships.
WWJ(AM) provides live and local content 24 hours a day and was honored in 2014 as the Michigan Association of Broadcasters'' Station of the Year and recognized with an NAB Crystal Award for community service.
Detroit''s sports talk station WXYT(FM) is the home of Lions football, Tigers baseball and Red Wings hockey.
