Hilversum, the Netherlands - Mar 6, 2014 - Dutch public broadcaster NPO has completed the rollout of phase two of its DAB+ network, thanks to the accelerated schedule provided to (and accomplished by) KPN Broadcast Services

At the end of February 2014 the final transmitter at Groningen, was turned on; thus, the entire country now has the ability to receive NPO on channel 12C. The multiplex transmission carries 24 different programs, including those of all the national public stations, such as Radio 1, 2, 3FM, 4, 5, 6, and FunX Top 2000 radio, in addition to the national commercial stations Radio 538, Sky Radio Q-music, Classic FM, Juize and Arrow Classic Rock. It's also possible, in future, that NPO will increase the channel count to 40, according to RadioNL.
