FCC Chairman Genachowski to Speak at 2010 NAB Show

Washington - Mar 18, 2010 - Julius Genachowski, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, will deliver a keynote speech during the 2010 NAB Show on April 13 at 9 a.m. Details about the topic of his speech have not yet been anounced.
Prior to his appointment as FCC Chairman in June 2009, Genachowski spent 10 years working in the technology industry, where his duties included starting, accelerating and investing in early- and mid-stage technology companies. He co-founded LaunchBox Digital and Rock Creek Ventures, where he served as managing director, and he was a special advisor at General Atlantic.
Previously, Genachowski served as chief counsel to FCC Chairman Reed Hundt and as special counsel to then-FCC General Counsel William Kennard, who was later named FCC Chairman. A Harvard Law School graduate, Genachowski also worked as a law clerk at the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals.
