IABM to Host IBC Conference Session

GLOUCESTERSHIRE, ENGLAND� The IABM will hold a conference session at IBC 2014 on September 12, focusing on the potential impact convergence will have on the technology supply infrastructure.

The IABM breakfast session, entitled �What Future for Broadcast Technology?� will be chaired by John Ive, the organization''s director of business development and technology, with the lead presentation delivered by IABM Chief Executive Peter White.

The event will feature a panel debate, as well as Imagine Communications and Gates Air President Charlie Vogt, Grass Valley President Marco Lopez, Quantel Executive Chairman/CEO Ray Cross and Telestream President/CEO Dan Castles will give their views and predictions.

�As the value and margins in broadcast hardware is rapidly becoming a commodity, the industry''s suppliers are now having to seriously consider embracing software and service-orientated business models,� said White.

The event is open to all and begins at 8 a.m.; coffee and a light breakfast will be available for attendees from 7:30. Register online.
