Maranville Joins Cross Platform Media Group

RALEIGH, N.C.�Cross Platform Media Group, LLC has named Tim Maranville as its chief content officer and director of channel development. Russ Jones was also tapped to fill the position of senior vice president of news operations for IRN/USA Radio Network and director of news and public relations for Cross Platform Media.
Maranville is the former vice president of programing for WestwoodOne (Dial Global) will oversee content development and distribution for the group''s platforms, which include IRN-USA Radio Network and TEN Syndication, home to USA Radio News, Daybreak USA, The Steve Deace Show, Bill Martinez Live, Point of View and other nationally syndicated programs.
At WestwoodOne, Maranville was in charge of formats, platform and special projects.
Jones will oversee news operations of IRN/USA and direct the consolidation of Christian News Service and Christian Press with Cross Platform Media's existing news and distribution resources. He also recently acquired credentials from the Israeli Ministry of Information to open IRN/USA's Israel News Bureau in Jerusalem.
Jones is co-founder of Christian News Service, a news release distribution and content creation firm and publisher of ChristianPress.com. Both entities are now under the CPM umbrella of companies.
IRN/USA Radio Network produces and/or distributes more than twenty nationally syndicated radio programs with audience-targeted formatting primarily for News/Talk and Christian radio.
CPM is a national media company based in Raleigh, N.C., that specializes in media network services by developing and distributing news, entertainment and talk show programming for independent Christian and general market radio stations, print and digital platforms.
