BOTHELL, Wash.�The Media Networking Alliance has been a big proponent of the AES67 AoIP interoperability standard and continued to make its case at the recent 141st AES Convention in Los Angeles.
Eleven of MNA�s exhibiting member companies took part in the conference�Archwave, Cymatic Audio, Focusrite, Lawo, DirectOut, Genelec, Merging Technologies, Riedel Communications, Shure, Solid State Logic and Yamaha�with the organization�s own booth serving as a central information point for all. Among the offerings were AES67 interoperability demonstrations and a video overview of AES67.
MNA members also featured AES67 as a highlight of a number of presentations. There were six total AES67-themed presentations, including �Rolling Out AES67 into Real-World Applications,� �AES and the Audio Industry,� �AES67 Discovery,� AES67 Interoperability Testing�The Plugfest Report,� and �AES70 as a Companion Control Protocol to AES67 Audio Transport.�
The 141st AES Convention took place from Sept. 29-Oct. 1.
