West Berlin, NJ - Mar 14, 2007 - Day Sequerra has announced a factory upgrade program for existing M2 and M4 HD Radio modulation monitors and tuners to add the new features of the newer models, the M2.2R (shown here) and M4.2R.The new tuners add functions such as Ethernet remote control and logging, programmable audio, data and multicast alarms, dry, floating alarm relay contact closures, notifications by e-mail and full-time AES output. The upgraded models will be unveiled at NAB2007.In addition, Day Sequerra will debut the M3, which houses contains three separate AM, FM and HD Radio tuners in a single 2RU enclosure. It provides a compact method for HD Radio stations to monitor and alarm analog and digital signals, including up to eight multicast streams. Each tuner's vacuum florescent display shows station frequency, HD-1 through HD-8 PAD, analog RBDS, signal strength and multipath. The M3 will ship in May.Current M2 and M4 users can contact Day Sequerra at email@example.com with the serial number of their units to request upgrade information.Products from the FloorMyat FMBP1000
FM bandpass filter
This FM bandpass filter is rated for 1kW and can be used as a standalone device to filter unwanted out-of-band energy, provide the necessary filtering requirements for IBOC signals and can be used in a channel combining system to combine two close-spaced FM channels that would then feed a common antenna. FMBP1000 series filters attenuate unwanted signals to reduce cross modulation. The filter is available in three- and four-section designs with or without cross coupling to meet your stations most stringent FM/IBOC filter requirements.
Transmitter remote control
This product complements the Audemat-Aztec remote control product line. It is a 1RU device that includes 64 digital inputs, 64 relay outputs and 24 analog inputs. It also includes four RS-232/412/485 ports, two Ethernet ports and four USB ports. There is an embedded Web server and it includes Scripteasy V2. Scripteasy V2 offers new features such as the ability to connect a slave unit to expand the I/O capabilities. The software also allows the user to configure I/O and actions with a chart that can then be converted to the Scripteasy GUI for more advanced programming.

New features of this software include an improved control room experience with new information available on the button bar. The DRR module has been revised to make its logs work more like station logs, allowing staff to transition between tasks faster. The software is faster with less network traffic and offers a revamped logs screen. An on-air image is now protected with pooled hotsparing, which allows any machine to take over in the event of a failure, and includes redundant WAN-casting. Production tasks go faster with a new mass changer, and filters let the user browse just the content he wants to view.

The modular construction of these microphones permits the KM D output stage to be combined with the various passive microphone capsules (omnidirectional, cardioid or hypercardioid). In the microphone, the A/D converter receives the output signal directly from the capsule. The microphones are equipped with a three-pin XLR connector for transmission of a bi-directional signal conforming to the AES 42 standard. Two versions of the digital miniature microphones are available: classic nickel and black Nextel finish. All standard sampling frequencies are supported, from 44.1kHz to 192kHz. An A/D converter receives the output signal directly from the microphone capsule. Level matching required for subsequent devices is performed digitally in the microphone itself.

Multistream networked audio processor
With algorithms modeled after the Omnia.3net, this processor provides eight discrete three-band stereo audio processors in a single, networked box. Its architecture works ahead of any bit-reduced audio coder to reduce artifacts and improve the sound audio destined for HD Radio, Internet and satellite broadcasting. Use it to process headphone feeds where off-air monitoring is not possible; as multi-band level control for remote codecs or on-air telephone systems; to process and send multiple audio streams from a single studio complex to multiple transmitter sites; or on-demand for in-studio musical performances or commercial production applications. The processor uses the Livewire standard over Ethernet.
