NATE Attends AGL Conference

Schlekeway updates attendees on regulatory efforts, NWSA development

WASHINGTON�The National Association of Tower Erectors participated at the Above Ground Level Media Group�AGL Conference, June 25 in Washington, D.C.

NATE Chairwoman Pat Cipov, Executive Director Todd Schlekeway and Legislative and Regulatory Committee member Jim Goldwater from Bob Lawrence & Associates represented the association, according to the organization�s newsletter.

The AGL Conference included informative panel sessions and case studies focused on spectrum, technology, tower trends, small cells, DAS and the evolution of Wi-Fi.

Schlekeway also delivered a keynote presentation on NATE�s recent legislative and regulatory efforts. He also provided an update on the development of the National Wireless Safety Alliance, the non-profit assessment and certification organization.

The Virginia Wireless Association and the Maryland/D.C. Wireless Association hosted a networking reception for conference attendees to round out the event.
