WATERTOWN, S.D.The National Association of Tower Engineers will host a live webinar September 23 at 12 noon (PDT). The subject will be compliance for Occupational Safety and Health Adminstration''s recordkeeping logs and procedures.
Edwin G. Foulke, Jr. (shown here) will present the webinar. He is the co-chair of the Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Management Practice Group at Fisher & Phillips LLP and former assistant secretary of labor for OSHA, will examine the recordkeeping pitfalls that employers face.
The program will cover how to coordinate injury and illness recordkeeping with other recordkeeping requirements and how employers can effectively improve their current safety and health management system.
This is in response to OSHA''s National Emphasis Program on recordkeeping as well as its direction that inspectors should review a company''s Form 300 Logs of work related injuries and illnesses for up to five previous years, which has resulted in many employers receiving five and six digit penalties for those violations, according to NATE.
