NEW YORK� Nielsen has certified WideOrbit�s Clarity platform for measurement of digital audiences. The platform online radio streaming by terrestrial broadcasters, pure play broadcasters and podcasters.

The Clarity streaming platform was created by Abacast, a company WideOrbit acquired last June, and it now has �Nielsen ratings baked right in,� according a press release from Nielsen.

Broadcasters can now access and offer third-party data, creating an alternative for broadcasters and networks to monetize their digital streams and on-demand content.
