NPO Continues to Expand Dutch Nationwide DAB+ Network

Amsterdam - Dec 16, 2013 - Dutch Public Broadcaster NPO is making progress on phase two of its nationwide DAB+ rollout. In the past two weeks, transmitters have come on the air at Zwolle, Markelo and Gemert. Additionally there are transmitters and antennas installed at Hoogersmilde and Dedemsvaart, according to RadioNL.

NPO is also planning on adding three stations to the nationwide DAB+ multiplex network. Currently the lineup includes Radio 1, Radio 2, 3FM, Radio 4, Radio 5, Radio 6, Nieuws24 and FunX.
