RAJAR 4Q2013: Digital Radio Continues Gains in UK

London - Feb 6, 2014 - RAJAR has published its 4Q2013 data on radio listening throughout the U.K. Some highlights of the digital radio listening results:

� 24 million adults now have access to a DAB receiver, up 10 percent year over year.
� The share of all radio listening via a digital platform has reached 36.1 percent, an increase of 9 percent year over year.
� The share of all radio listening attributable to a DAB radio has increased to 23.4 percent, a 10 percent increase year over year.
� The share of all radio listening attributable to online sources has increased to 6 percent, a 17 percent increase year over year.
� 52 percent of the population of the U.K. now tune in to a digital radio (for at least 5 minutes) during the course of an average week. This amount has increased 10 percent year over year.
� 25 percent of adults have listened to radio via a mobile phone, an increase of 32 percent year over year.
� 45 percent of those 15-24 years old have listened to radio via a mobile phone, an increase of 23 percent year over year.
� The total Digital listening hours for Q4 2013 increased year over year by 9 percent.
