RFS to Highlight Antennas, One WTC Role at NAB Show

RFS brass expected to take part in handful of sessions during conference

MERIDEN, Conn.�Radio Frequency Systems will hope to stand out like one of its antennas at the 2017 NAB Show. The designer and manufacturer is expected to feature its full suite of broadcast products, as well as take part in a couple of sessions.

Attendees at the RFS booth will be able to get a look at the company�s SBB series of wideband slot antennas, PEP Lite antennas and RFStar UHF slotted array antennas. It is also expected to display new all-inclusive connector kits, air-diecletric cable products and a new channel combiner that features conventional waveguide filters.

RFS has a number of sessions lined up during the show as well. One session scheduled for April 25 at 2:30 p.m. in room N256 be presented by RFS� Brandon George and focus on a new approach to slotted antenna design techniques using full wave EM simulations of the complete antenna in tandem with circuit models and design mapping techniques.

As part of the Broadcast Engineering and IT Conference, RFS will participate in the �Building an Advanced Customizable RF Transmission System at One World Trade Center� panel. The panel is about the new terrestrial broadcasting system at One WTC, which features RFS� PEP antenna arrays with Variable Polarization Technology. The BEITC panel will be held April 26 from 9-10 a.m. in room N242.

Nick Wymant, RFS CTO, will also offer some info on the company�s involvement with One WTC by taking part in the press conference �Building the Transmission System at One World Trade Center: The Team that Built It Tells Their Story.� Wymant will be joined by Durst Organization broadcast communications director John Lyons; Phil Cindrich, president of Myat, Inc.; Jim Graf, president of Skyline Towers; and broadcast consultant John Gordon. The press conference is scheduled for April 23 at 2 p.m. in room N258.

RFS will be located at booth C2022 during the 2017 NAB Show.
