Sistema Clube has acquired two Harris Broadcast Flexiva FM 10kW transmitters and one DAX5 5kW AM transmitter for stations in Ribeirao Preto and Sao Carlos, Brazil. All Flexiva and Maxiva transmitters are based on the Harris Broadcast PowerSmart architecture to maximize power, space and energy efficiency at transmission sites.
Radio One has selected WideOrbit WO Traffic for all of its 55 stations, spanning 16 markets. Radio One is moving from a legacy system -- migrating all of its radio stations to a single WO Traffic system, which will let them view real-time, consolidated reporting, maximize revenue and inventory, and optimize performance across all stations and markets.
Audemat has sold 200 FMB80 RDS encoders to Global Security Systems (GSS), providers of the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) and FM-based mass emergency notification service, Alert FM. The RDS encoders have been used for Alert FM expansion in the United States, Asia and Latin America. Audemat's FMB80 is already a core component in the Alert FM network and this latest order will enable expansion of its coverage to more than 500 installations and 750 users throughout 48 states in the US, Asia and Latin America.
The Ozark Radio Network has signed with vCreative's PPO cloud-based continuity system to manage the production process from beginning to end for broadcast and digital creative. For Ozark, that means that everyone involved will be able to see the production process in real time allowing for potentially costly errors to be caught before they go on the air or on the Web. The Missouri network includes KWPM-AM, KUKU-FM, KKDY-FM, KSPQ-FM and WWWX-FM.
