Radio Foorti expanded its network in April 2010 with the installation of Broadcast Electronics FM 10S transmitter systems at five new RF sites, becoming the largest privately operated network of FMs in Bangladesh. Radio Foorti's new transmitter operations in Khulna, Rajshahi, Barishal, Mymensingh and Cox's Bazar add to its existing operations in Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong that went on the air in 2006. Radio Foorti also acquired a new BE STX LP 1 kW transmitter for emergency mobile back up.
Logitek Electronic Systems has sold audio console systems to a number of users around the United States and in Australia. JetStream console engine/IP audio networking systems were sold to KACU-FM in Abilene, TX; WLKG in Lake Geneva, WI; KMOJ in Minneapolis; and Stanford University's KZSU in Palo Alto, CA. KACU plans to use the JetStream for IP audio routing; the two JetStream units at KZSU will be used to share the facility's audio sources among its studios. KZSU also ordered a Mosaic-12 control surface for an on-air studio. WLKG purchased a JetStream and Remora console package. KMOJ will place two JetStream units and three Remora control surfaces in various studios in their facility.
Other Radio orders in the USA included a Pilot-12 control surface for WLCC in Tampa, FL, and a Mosaic-8 control surface for WXPN in Philadelphia. Both stations are expanding existing Logitek systems.
In Melbourne Australia, Chinese Community Radio station 3CR placed an order for four JetStream units, two Pilot-12s and one Pilot-18. The JetStream units will be networked via IP to share audio sources among the three studios at the facility.
The Radio Voice of Vietnam (VOV), headquartered in Hanoi, is presently installing another Jampro antenna system as part of its nationwide network upgrade program. To date, Jampro has more than 40 installations in Vietnam. The new system includes a high-power eight-bay, 32-panel Jampro model JFVD broadband, vertically polarized, flat-panel FM broadcast antenna, a Jampro model RCCC constant-impedance FM combiner and a Jampro Pro-Line rigid transmission line system.
Radio Voice of Vietnam is owned by the Vietnamese government through its Radio and Television Broadcast Development Company. It operates six radio channels broadcasting in Vietnamese and 23 other languages reaching 90 percent of the country. For listeners outside the country, VOV offers online content and programming along with shortwave radio broadcasts. The radio service has news bureaus in 10 countries, including China, France, Russia, and the United States.
Suria FM has installed a J�nger Audio D07 two-channel digital transmission processor, Cats FM has ordered six D07s, Slovak Radio has deployed NOA Audio Solutions Mediarc system and NOA Ingestline digital transcription, the Pittsburgh Pirates have a signed a multiyear contract with Skyview Networks, Nic Fanciulli recently installed an Allen & Heath compact XB-14 broadcast mixer in his studio, and Logitek has made sales throughout the United States and Australia....
