Joining the industry-wide effort to provide a compelling over-the-air radio listening experience on the smartphone, Cox Media Group has chosen TagStation data service to supplement its FM radio programming with enhanced hybrid content. The move will give its more than 14 million radio listeners a new way to hear, see, and interact with local radio programming.
StreamOn is partnering with Always Mountain Time to provide streaming for its 10 radio stations. Through the use of StreamOn's HLS streaming technology, Always Mountain Time is now able to provide a more reliable listening experience for mobile listeners in the resort areas of the Colorado Rockies. The switchover of all 10 stations took less than two days, and demonstrates the capabilities of StreamOn's deep integration with Commotion.
The Korean Broadcasting System has chosen Rohde & Schwarz, Europe 1 outfits with HARMAN Studer, and Internet Broadcasting Systems is working with Southern California Public Radio....
