OMT installed Imediatouch radio automation in Corus Entertainment's Toronto facilities for Q107, 102.1 the Edge and AM640 Toronto Radio. Corus will continue to utilize this technology when it moves to its new waterfront headquarters in spring 2010. Imediatouch is used for all broadcast operations including live assist and automated broadcasts, Web streaming and radio display data.
Malibu, CA's Pepperdine University, home of student-run KWVS-FM, recently upgraded their studio facilities with Axia IP-Audio equipment and networked broadcast consoles. Along with two 22-position Element 2.0 consoles, the order includes several AES/EBU, analog and microphone audio nodes, mixing engines, call controller modules that interface with Telos Talkshow systems, and Axia Iprofiler networked audio logging software.
Liquid Compass has signed Salem Communications and Saga Communications to its streaming radio network. Combined, the multi-year contracts add 154 stations in major and top-50 U.S. markets to the Liquid Compass network. Liquid Compass's next generation LC Pro Flash media player ties together stations' Web, mobile, live and on-demand content, and also video streaming initiatives.
Ando Media has added Cox Radio to its list of clients using their product suite of Webcast Metrics, Ad Injector, PodFuse, and Royalty Reporting. Cox Radio will have access to actual audience metrics for all of their Internet radio station streams, as well as the ability to insert and manage advertising campaigns across channels and report on impression delivery.
