Sound Summit Atlanta Scheduled for Oct. 4

ATLANTA�DPA Microphones, Lectrosonics and Sound Devices have announced that Sound Summit Atlanta is scheduled to take place Sunday, Oct. 4 at the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees headquarters in Atlanta. This is the third regional event hosted by the trio of companies across the U.S.

These Sound Summit events are designed as discussions on the best practices of the audio community. Local mixers Whit Norris and Chris Durfy will assist with Sound Summit Atlanta, which will include presentations, networking and Q&A opportunities.

Among the presenters will be DPA�s Global Sales Manager Bo Brinck to discuss polar patterns, frequency response and optimum placement for lavalier and shotgun microphones. Karl Winkler, Lectrosonic vice president of sales/services, will demonstrate gain structure, antenna optimization and RF frequency coordination. Jon Tatooles, co-founder and chief business development officer of Sound Devices, will also be on hand to discuss multi-track audio recording, time synchronization and file management for location sound mixers.

DPA Microphones, Lectrosonics, Sound Devices, and K-Tek to Host the Sound Summit Toronto

On Tuesday, July 19, 2016, DPA Microphones, Lectrosonics, Sound Devices, and K-Tek, will host The Sound Summit Toronto at The Church on the Queensway in Toronto. This event is part of The Sound Summit series of informal networking and educational presentations for audio professionals. Together they gather, collaborate, and discuss their techniques and tools for capturing high-quality audio. This summit will mark the first international location in the series of events; past cities include New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Orlando.
