NEW YORK�TargetSpot is highlighting new apps through its relationship with sister company Radionomy, an online radio publisher.
TargetSpot is a platform that seeks to deliver targeted digital audio ads to online listeners; advertisers can segment audiences based on attributes such as demographics, consumer behaviors, content and listening platforms. Radionomy users listen to streams from its website, mobile apps and through distribution across services like iTunes Internet radio, TuneIn and Sonos. The two companies are part of the Radionomy Group, owned by Vivendi.
They said advertisers now can target connected homes reaching Samsung Smart TVs and Roku streaming media devices through those new apps with Radionomy.
TargetSpot COO David Kert was quoted in the announcement saying, �Smart TVs and streaming devices are becoming increasingly popular with the advent of the �connected home� and for advertisers this represents extended reach with a valuable audience.� He said Radionomy�s push into connected consumer electronic devices �allows us to reach consumers however and wherever they listen to digital audio content with targeted messaging.�
