The 2016 Fiat 500X Will Feature HD Radio

COLUMBIA, MD.�iBiquity Digital Corporation announced that Fiat will introduce HD Radio receivers in the upcoming 500X model. With this announcement, made during the LA Auto Show, all Chrysler Group brands now offer HD Radio Technology to their drivers, since Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, and Ram brands already have vehicles with HD Radio receivers in the market. The 2016 Fiat 500X will be available at dealers in the first half of 2015.
The HD Radio system is available across the U.S. and Mexico, with more than 2,200 digital stations on-air, in addition to over 1,500 HD2/HD3 digital-only channels.
All major Auto manufactures incorporate HD Radio receivers in 185+ models with more than 90 models featuring HD Radio receivers as standard equipment. Five automakers utilize the HD Radio system to deliver subscription-free Traffic & Data information to their vehicles. Inside Radio is reporting that there are nearly 23 million digital receivers in use, with close to 20 million HD-radio equipped vehicles sold. Almost 20,000 cars and trucks are built each day with HD-radios on-board, and iBiquity says that half the models sold today offer HD as standard equipment.
