Tower Family Foundation Seeks Donations Before New Year

WATERTOWN, S.D. � It�s hard to believe, but in less than two weeks we�ll switch to our 2018 calendars.

In light of that fact, the Tower Family Foundation is seeking year-end donations and reminds the wireless and broadcasting industry that charitable contributions are tax-deductible.

So far in 2017, the foundation �awarded $127,500 in direct financial assistance and scholarships,� and since its founding in September 2014, the 501(c)(3) has donated $342,500, according to the press release.

Those concerned about how funds are spent once your money has been donated will be interested to know that �an accounting firm independently calculated that over 96 cents of every dollar donated to the Tower Family Foundation goes to eligible benefactors,� as of 2017.

Additionally, donations that reach certain levels will be recognized on the foundation�s website.

The Tower Industry Family Support Charitable Foundation was established to help provide financial assistance to family members of a severely injured, permanently disabled or deceased tower worker injured or killed in an accident stemming from tower work-related activities.
