BEAVERTON, Ore.Audio Precisions new APx1701 Transducer Test Interface is set to make its introduction at a pair of upcoming events, including the 140th International AES Convention. The new system integrates amplifiers and microphone power supplies for insight into the behavior of electro-acoustic devices.
Directly integrated with APx500 audio measurement software and when paired with an APx500 series analyzer APx1701 provides an integrated platform that can evaluate the performance of electro-acoustic devices as well as their analog and digital components. Like the APx500, the new unit is also a calibrated instrument under ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
The APx1701 features a signal-to-noise ratio of 134 dB and provides 20 dB of fixed-gain amplification from DC to 100 kHz. The systems power amplifiers are configured as two independent channels, with power ratings up to 100W for a single channel into 8 O. The system is equipped with pairs of balanced and unbalanced microphone inputs.
The APx1701 requires an APx500 series analyzer and is supported by APx500 audio measurement software version 4.3 or later.
