CLEVELANDAxia, a Telos Alliance company, is rolling out the v2.10 software update for the Axia IP-Audio Driver, making it AES67-compliant, just in time for the 2017 NAB Show.
The Axia Livewire+ AES67 IP-Audio Driver enables customers to send and record single or multiple channels of stereo PC audio directly to and from Axia networks via Ethernet. Up to 24 channels of stereo audio can be sent over a single CAT-5 Ethernet connection simultaneously. Since the updated system is AES67 compliant, users now have the ability to sync to PTP, support to define multicast addresses outside of the Livewire and Livewire+ AES67 IP range, and SIP/Unicast support for RTP streaming.
The new version of the IP-Audio driver is available for free download to existing licensed users on the Axia Livewire+ product page.
Axia will demonstrate the system at its booth, N7724, during the 2017 NAB Show in Las Vegas.
