ZURICH�Barix has unveiled a new subscription model for its fully integrated SoundScape business music and advertising system. The company is now offering the SoundScape for monthly payments, rather than annual contracts.
The SoundScape is a 50-player starter package that allows businesses to improve sonic branding, with nominal fees for additional single player licenses. This software-as-a-service system brings together cloud-based management, end point playout and global monitoring capabilities. Features include dynamic content scheduling, remote device management, system-wide reporting and monitoring, hierarchical user permissions, and options for live and scheduled streaming.
According to Barix, this new subscription model eliminates the upfront investment, maintaining low cost of ownership. This gives businesses the ability to monetize the system through dynamic ad insertion, accelerating return on investment as new locations are added to SoundScape networks.
