ELKHART, Ind. Crown Broadcast says it has made upgrades to its Crown E-Series product line. With the updates, the Crown E-250 has been renamed Crown E-300.

The company will also now offer the optional integration for the CT-1 internal AM/FM receiver into select E-Series models.

The receiver will allow the E-Series transmitter to be a fully functional translator product offering the broadcaster flexibility and a single box solution, said Crown Broadcast Sales Marketing Manager Kent Koselke. The upgrade in power on the FME-250 to FME300 is the result of one year of performance testing to ensure maximum reliability for the broadcaster all while still leaving plenty of headroom in the E-300.

Crown Broadcast provides its own Classic FM Series broadcast transmitters up to 4kWs, and says its exclusive partnership with WorldCast Systems, Bordeaux, France, offers broadcasters the E-Series FM transmitter line.

All products are shipped, serviced and supported from the Elkhart, Ind., location.
