PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis.To assist in easier shipping and installation of antennas, DH Satellite have created a process where they can ship an antenna in eight pieces.
Using a computer operated plasma cutter, ribs are created in a parabolic shape, bolted together and then welded to the antenna. This allows for the antenna to be cut into sections and reassembled in an accurate parabolic shape, with the ribs adding to the strength of the structure. The antenna also features eight adjustable braces on the steel mount to support the structure.
DH sectional antennas are available from 2.4m to 5m with various commercial mounts.
