MITTWEIDA, GermanyDirectOut has announced that it will introduce its new MADI.MONI testing and monitoring tool at the 139th AES Convention.
MADI.MONI offers an interface that enables users to see all format parameters and signal quality of a MADI stream. Operation is done through four push buttons on the UI, including volume/channel selection to monitor individual channels of a MADI signal via the 3.5mm headphone jack. A traffic light display delivers immediate information about the physical signal condition. The state of the incoming MADI signal is then displayed with dedicated LEDs for each parameter.
DirectOut has also announced it has expanded the capabilities for its ANNA-LISA MADI analyzer with the recent release of a remote control app for Android devices.
Both devices are on display at booth 547. AES 2015 is currently underway in New York.
Customers can place an order for the MADI.MONI, with shipments expected to begin Dec. 1.
