SOUTHFIELD, Mich.Unveiled in Amsterdam at IBC 2016, ENCOs ClipFire media playout system will get its U.S. premiere at the 2017 NAB Show. ENCO describes the ClipFire system as an all-in-one appliance for playback applications in studio and mobile environments.
ClipFire features a fully graphical user interface with touch-screen operation. The interface offers a series of active buttons, each with a visual thumbnail with clip information and ready to fire playback video, audio or graphics with a single click or tap. Buttons can be assigned to play individual clips, overlay graphics, send commands to external devices, or trigger multiple clips simultaneously. There is also support for multiple pages and layouts. ClipFire supports WAV, MP3 and MP2 audio formats, can access clips from local storage or across a network, and features ENCOs library system.
The ClipFire can be used for studio-based news broadcasts, visual radio, concerts and sports coverage. It is also designed for sustainability for mobile production.
The 2017 NAB Show will take place from April 24-27 in Las Vegas. ENCO will be located at booth N2024.
