LOS ANGELESExpanding its range of Dante-compatible interface products, Focusrite has announced the release of the RedNet PCIeR card. Similar to the RedNet PCIe, the RedNet PCIeR adds dual RJ45 Ethernet ports that allow two networks to be connected to the card; the card can switch between the networks depending on availability.
The card supports 24-bit/192 kHz operation with connected interfaces and requires a four-lane PCI Express card slot in a Windows or Mac computer, or Thunderbolt chassis. The PCIeR delivers 128 inputs and 128 outputs at 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 kHz; it delivers 64 I/O at 176.4 and 192 kHz. It also features under 3ms analog-to-analog round-trip latency when combined with RedNet A-D and D-A; and ASIO and Core Audio drives.
The RedNet PCIeR is now available at a starting price of $1,299.99.
