LDR and Takeover technologies include Instant Alerts, live interactive radio programming, social playlist sharing, as well as LDRs interface with radio automation systems.

Futuris LDR1 services are used by South African stations KFM/Cape Town and 947/Johannesburg on their websites and mobile apps to connect live playlist data, drive contesting features and engage audiences through social media. With these features, users can vote for their favorite songs and then be notified by text, tweet or email when those songs are about to play. Listeners can also use Futuris Takeover platform to choose the songs on an hour-long weekday program called The Takeover.

Additional features include Call Me Back On-Air, and interactive feature to enter contests that allows listeners to get a call back from the stations on-air personality.
