CINCINNATI, OhioGatesAir has announced that it will showcase its Flexiva LX transmitters for analog FM broadcasting at the upcoming 2016 NAB Show. On the lower power end of GatesAir radio transmitter range, the Flexiva LX is said to provide a range of options for analog and digital radio delivery.
The Flexiva LX transmitter features most of the same technology of GatesAirs previous Flexiva transmitters in a streamlined design for FM analog broadcasts. The transmitter comes with an integrated, multiband digital audio processor with composite clipping and dynamic RDS. It also has a built-in FSK ID system, as well as an optional slide-in, DSP-based rebroadcast receiver card. Built-in web-based control also provides an option for monitoring and management of transmitter parameters from networked locations.
GatesAir designed the Flexiva LX series to reduce size, energy consumption and maintenance. Its 2RU footprint fits into any transmitter building or enclosure and features hot swappable power supplies. The transmitter is available now in power levels from 10W to 1kW; it will begin shipping this summer.
The 2016 NAB Show will take place from April 16-21. GatesAir will be located at booth N2512.
