The Maxiva XTE enhances signal correction to improve modulation error ratio and addresses other signal imperfections in over-the-air broadcasts. Built in a 1RU platform, the XTE features a 300 percent increase in digital signal processing capability, as well as a 1GHz quad-core CPU with 20 times the horsepower. This ensures improved signal quality for DAB radio and DTV standards, in addition to new broadcast opportunities, including LTE Mobile Offload and ATSC 3.0. HTML5 GUI with monitoring and diagnostic capabilities is also available. The system's software-defined design makes it field-upgradable as standards change.

GatesAir will demonstrate the Maxiva XTE at its booth, 8.B20, during IBC 2015, which runs Sept. 11-15 in Amsterdam.
