Glensound Launches Mini Cub USB Audio Interface

LONDON�After releasing the Cub USB interface in 2014, broadcast product manufacturer Glensoud has officially launched the new Mini Cub USB audio interface. Featuring a single audio input and return stereo headphone monitoring, the Mini Cub is designed to be a compact, high specification USB audio interface.

Measuring at 79x93x36mm, the Mini Cub is USB powered and has a water and dust proof mini USB interface for connection to a PC, Mac or a Raspberry Pi. It comes with a single XLR input that is mic, mic+48V phantom or line selectable, has Glensound�s Referee input compressor system and a four-segment LED that indicates the input level, which is adjustable by a front panel pot control. The input is delivered to both channels of the USB output. There is also a 6.35mm socket for a stereo headphone connection with an adjustable level control.

Designed for broadcast, the Mini Cub has internal digital signal processing and micro controllers for system control, with the digital audio at 24-bit 48 kHz, and an equivalent input noise of 121dB at line up.
