Inovonics Rolls Out New Receiver and Processor Lines

Aaron 655 and Novia family of processors among company’s latest products debuting at NAB Show

FELTON, Calif.�Inovonics has some new gear to offer its customers, announcing the Aaron 655 FM/HD Radio receiver and the Novia series of half-rack, digital audio processors for AM and FM radio broadcast.

The Aaron 655 features an FM/HD Radio SDR-based receiver that returns to the programmed frequency and reception mode following a power interruption. The receiver accepts FM, HD1-8, analog, AES Digital and streaming program inputs with fallback-priority selection. Outputs include FM-stereo-multiplex (MPX), analog and AES digital program line outputs and output streaming. It also offers IP connectivity with a web-browser interface for remote control; GPIO failure alarms with email notifications, alarm logs and support for SNMP operation; and an onboard RDS encoder. The unit�s audio processing includes AGC, a syllabic leveler, three bands of compression, wideband and independent HF limiting, parametric EQ, Bass Punch utility, independent Density and Loud/Smooth adjustments, and variable composite processing.

The new Novia line includes the Novia 236 for Mono AM, Novia 262 for FM and stereo audio production and the Novia 272 with stereo-gen and RDS for FM. All models provide multi-language menu-drive set-up and an IP/browser interface compatible with PC or mobile devices. IP connectivity provides local and email failure alarms, and SNMP support. Novias accept both program line and streaming inputs and allow remote IP monitoring. The three models also offer the same processing capabilities as the Aaron 655.
