BERLIN and MADISON, Wis.�The Sound Forge series of products from Magix are all getting the upgrade treatment, per an official company announcement. The entire line of Sound Forge products are scheduled to receive updates in the next 12 months, starting this month with the Sound Forge Pro Mac 3.
Magix will provide support for 64-bit float/192kHz/32 channels high-resolution audio for the Sound Forge Pro Mac 3, as well as sample-accurate editing, enhanced professional-level filters and processing, and disc-at-once Red Book Standard audio CD authoring. Loudness metering and the iZotope plug-ins RX Elements and Ozone 7 Elements will also be included as part of the upgrade.
August will see the release of the new Sound Forge Audio Studio. Its new features include improved DSP-algorithms for native audio effects, slice-oriented edit mode, VST3 compatibility and enhanced accessibility. A new version of Sound Forge Pro 12 is also expected by the end of 2017, with an aim for improving audio editing and mastering.
Sound Forge Pro Mac 3 is now available online for $299.
