LAS VEGAS — At NAB Show, Omnia Audio staff will debut FiDef technology during demonstrations at the Telo Alliance radio booth.
According to the press release, FiDef technology “replaces essential audio cues lost in the recording process and activates the full potential of our auditory systems.”
“FiDef is an software algorithm that can be applied to an audio file or to an audio stream in real time, you don’t need any special encoders or decoders to get the full FiDef experience,” FiDef Marketing Director Dustin Hackworth explained in an email. “FiDef makes low quality audio sound better; it makes super high quality audio sound better; and it and can be applied to all audio regardless of format, type, or sample rate/bit depth.”
Hackworth added, “We have a handful of bands, artists, and producers releasing their singles, albums, and music videos ‘In FiDef.’ At NAB you’ll be able to hear real-time FiDef processing in the Telos’ Omnia boxes.”
On Tuesday, April 10 at 2 p.m., also in booth N6531, Gary Katz, Al Schmitt, Frank Filipetti, and Ed Cherney will discuss their experiences with FiDef, as well as insights into what it was like to work with popular artists.
The Telos Alliance comprises six brands: Telos Systems, Omnia Audio, Axia Audio, Linear Acoustic, 25-Seven Systems, and Minnetonka Audio.
