CLEVELAND, Ohio OmniaSST broadcast audio software is now available to transform Windows PCs into Omnia audio processors, the Telos Alliance announced in a release.

OmniaSST is the first processor to support the Telos Alliance's MPX codec, which is able to transport high-quality multiplexed FM signals over a 320 kbps pipeline. Omnia SST is bundled with an MPX encoder and a single MPX decoder license and retails for $1,395.

It also features Declipper, Delossifer and Dehummer: With Declipper, OmniaSST repairs incoming audio, optimizing it before it hits compression, limiting, and final processing stages, Delossifer repairs the sound of lossy compressed audio, and Dehummer removes unwanted sounds.

OmniaSST includes Omnia presets, FM pre-emphasis, stereo and RDS encoding, and shares the same composite final clipper as the Omnia.9SG. Using an i7 class processor, latency can be reduced to as low as 5ms. Its streamlined GUI enables intuitive operation.

OmniaSST was designed by Hans van Zutphen alongside the Omnia team.
