Orban Unveils Optimod-FM 8700 Processor

Company will showcase new product at 2016 NAB Show

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.�Continuing off its previous Optimod-FM 8600 model, audio processing technology provider Orban recently introduced the Optimod-FM 8700 processor.

This new processor features Ravenna audio-over-IP I/O, a 192 kHz AES3 digital composite output, and dual digitized SCA inputs to add connectivity. It also features a hot-swappable PC server-grade dual redundant power supply with automatic failover. In addition, the Optimod-FM 8700 comes with a program-adaptive subharmonic synthesizer and Orban�s �Multipath Mitigator.� A full-featured RDS/RBDS comes standard.

Orban will spotlight its new FM processor at the upcoming 2016 NAB Show in booth N5006.
