MONTEBELLO, Calif.�Tascam, the professional audio division of TEAC Corp., has announced the release of three new audio products: the Celesonic US-20x20 audio interface, the VL-S3 compact monitors, and Trackpack 4x4 recording studio.
The Celesonic US-20x20 consists of 20 channels of analog and digital I/O into a single rackspace with USB 3.0/2.0 connectivity. The system features eight Ultra-HDDA microphone preamps with 56 dB of gain and high headroom; up to 10 channels of digital I/O included on ADAT and S/PDIF connectors; word clock in and out; support for up to 192kHz/24-bit audio; MDI input and output; a built-in DSP mixer with parametric EQ and compression per channel and stereo reverb on send/return; and angled bio-cell side panels and rack ears. It is available in three modes: audio interface, mic pre, and mixer. The Celesonic US-20x20 will be available at the end of September for $499.99.
The VL-S3 is a 2-way powered set of monitors that includes a 3-inch woofer with rear ported cabinet. The system also features a pair of RCA inputs that accept line-level input; a stereo 1/4-inch to RCA cable is also included. In addition, Tascam offers a 1/8-inch stereo mini-jack; a 14W per side power amplifier; crossover frequency of 8kHz; and a frequency response of 80Hz-22kHz. The VL-S3 is now available for $99.99.
The Trackpack 4x4 recording studio is a 4-in/4-out USB interface with four Ultra-HDDA mic preamps, providing up to 57 dB of gain. NE5532 op amps are included for sound quality without coloring the source. Additionally, the system features four balance line ouputs; two headphone outputs for TH-02 headphones; TM-80 condenser microphones; SONAR X3 LE and Steinberg Cubase LE; and a choice of two DAW applications. The Trackpack 4x4 recording studio is now available.
