CLEVELANDIn what is the first major update for the Voltair Watermark Monitor and Processor since version 2.0, Telos Alliance has announced that it is releasing the version 2.3.2 software update. The new features will be available to all Voltair users for free.
The update includes new sections devoted to the use of Voltair in conjunctions with Omnia.9 and Omnia.11 processor patch points for processing performance. Encoder Distortion Testing and Flexible Program Output have also been added as part of the update.
The Encoder Distortion Testing adds a diagnostic feature to the Voltair software for measuring the level of distortion. A new calibration section has also been added to the external web information page that shows the results of the distortion testing for detecting encoders whose audio path may be distorting a stations feed.
With the new Flexbile Program Output, Voltair 2.3.2 allows users to choose any of four types of Program Output: Enhanced Audio; Encoded Audio; Studio Input; and Raw Tones. Previous versions of Voltair had been fixed to a single standard.
Voltair 2.3.2 is now available on the Voltair product page.
